The typical running water lamp only lights up one LED light at a time. This circuit adds a capacitor to the original LED running water lamp circuit to delay and achieve a gradual extinction effect. We analyze using one of the methods. When QO outputs high voltage, the capacitor is charged through diode D1. When the voltage approaches VCC, the transistor Q1 conducts LED1 and LED2 on. When entering the next state, Q1 outputs 0 and Q2 outputs 1, due to the single continuity of the diode, the electricity of capacitor C1 is only discharged through the E poles of R1 and Q1. The voltage at both ends of the C1 capacitor changes, and the transistor gradually approaches the cut-off state. Therefore, LED1 and LED2 gradually darken, and other LED lights gradually appear from bright to dark, presenting a gradual flowing water effect. The pulse input signal of 4017 is provided by a multi harmonic oscillator composed of transistors Q11 and Q12. Changing the resistance of RP1 can change the oscillation frequency, thereby adjusting the water flow speed
