Last week, my client from Mexico finished his work in Shenzhen and planned to visit Chongqing before flying home.
When he asked, “Would you like to join me?” we immediately said yes.
We went from Chengdu to meet him at the airport in Chongqing. For this trip, we took care of the car, hotel, tickets, and meals. We just wanted them to have a good time.

In Chongqing, we: Saw the beautiful night view at Hongyadong
Visited the busy Liberation Monument
Drove to see the old stone carvings at Dazu
Walked around Ciqikou and tried local snacks
Ate hot pot and taught him how to cook the food in the pot
After two days, we went back to Chengdu together. On the way back,we talked like old friends, not business partners. And we teach them how to play majiang, hahaha , it's really funny
To be honest, this impromptu trip to Chongqing was even more gratifying for us than closing a deal. It gave us the opportunity to connect with our clients as friends, outside the office and warehouse.
We've always felt that since our clients have flown all this way, we can't just have them look at products and attend meetings. Whenever time allows, we want to go the extra mile, showing them the local culture and customs, and letting them enjoy an authentic meal.
That's why we look forward to your next visit, so we can get to know each other better, just like old friends. Perhaps then, we can arrange another cultural experience like this for you!
