Description
In the power supply circuit, the rectifier circuit converts AC into pulsating DC, and after the rectifier circuit is connected to a larger capacity electrolytic capacitor, using its charging and discharging characteristics, the pulsating DC voltage after rectification becomes relatively stable DC voltage. In practice, in order to prevent changes in the supply voltage of various parts of the circuit due to load changes, electrolytic capacitors of tens to hundreds of microfactors are generally connected to the output end of the power supply and the input end of the load power supply
The functions of electrolytic capacitors in switching power supply include bypass, decoupling, filtering, and energy storage. Generally, a white edge on the top of a capacitor faces the first pin, which is the negative pole or the lead is the positive pole, and the short lead is the positive pole
